Destination Dreamin'
This week I’ve been dreaming of Miami! Specifically, Miami beach. I always thought this travel destination was overrated, especially for people who aren’t that into partying, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Last summer I booked a quick trip to Miami on a whim due to a flight voucher I had to use up and I had the best time. For the first time in my life, I relaxed on vacation! Typically, my itinerary is filled to the brim when I’m traveling, but since I was 6 months pregnant on this particular trip, I was forced to take it slow. We had points that we could put towards The Palms Hotel & Spa and I’m afraid this experience may have spoiled me forever - the art deco vibe, the private beach and pool, and the amazing food were all to die for. We visited a jazz lounge, ate satiating halloumi at Doya, and viewed the Pérez Art Museum. When I go back, the first thing I’ll do is the Little Haiti Walking Tour.
What Inspired Me This Week…
I can’t think of anything more frightening than flying a plane, so that’s why it is so inspirational to hear that Kamora Freeland became the youngest pilot in history in the state of New York! She is only 16 years old and she has already earned her private pilot’s license. Just think of all the places she’ll go!

Delta, American, United, and Jet Blue are offering deals to San Juan, Puerto Rico. The recommended time to book to catch this deal is from March to May. It’s on my bucket list to book a kayaking trip to see the bioluminescent bays there!
