Destination Dreamin'
This week, I’ve been dreaming of a destination I’ve never actually made it to - Sydney, Australia! My sister made it here on her honeymoon and she raved about it. On her trip, she watched New Year’s Eve fireworks, enjoyed a show at the iconic Sydney Opera House, and even swam with sharks. If I had two weeks here, I would be sure to visit the Great Barrier Reef and Ayers Rock as well.
What Inspired Me This Week…
Speaking of Australia, the person that inspired me this week was from there. James Harrison passed away this past week at the age of 88, but he certainly lived an incredible life of service. He had a nickname of “the Golden Arm” because he donated so much blood. He started donating when he was 18 and he donated consecutively for over 6 decades. Due to the rare antibody in his bloodstream, he is calculated to have saved over 2 million babies.
Travel Deals
This week there are incredible deals to Anchorage, Alaska during peak seasons! From Chicago, deals are as low as $350 roundtrip.The deals are for April-May and August-December. If I were to book a trip here, I would put my money towards the once-in-a-lifetime wildlife tours to see whales, bears, moose, and more!
