Destination Dreamin'
With the humidity, it feels like 100 degrees in the midwest right now! Do you know what that reminds me of? New Orleans. I had the chance to head down to the Big Easy for Jazzfest for the second time this past April, and it did not disappoint. There’s more character in one block of New Orleans than in some entire cities! The Spanish-French architecture, the heat, the beignets, and the music bring people to life there. It’s also funny to remember that New Orleans is actually older than the United States, which is why it might feel so unique to me.
