Destination Dreamin'

This week I’ve been living for Ireland nostalgia. It’s the first country I ever traveled to when I was 18, and I’ve been back on four other occasions over the past 10 years. This picture was taken on my first-ever smartphone while walking down Parnell Street to my hotel in Dublin. My favorite things to do in Ireland include buying “rounds” for strangers in pubs who quickly become friends, listening to trad music, and eating vegetable soup with a side of chips. Ireland is a place I know I’ll continue returning to throughout my life, a second home across the sea.

What Inspired Me This Week…

José Andrés has the Midas touch, everything he is involved in seems to turn to gold. He is a world-class chef, founder of World Central Kitchen, host of the Longer Table podcast, and a children’s book author. WCK is an organization that is committed to serving those affected by natural disasters and humanitarian crises and they were more recently seen taking action in Los Angeles for those impacted by the fires. His love of food is infectious and his show Dinner Party Diaries is a riot.

Travel Deals

I have been helping a client with an itinerary to Alaska this summer, and there are incredible deals to Anchorage popping up all over the place! Going on an Alaskan day cruise to see whales is an item on my bucket list I can’t wait to cross off.
